What? Another fundraiser?
Yes. The PTO is doing a lot to help fulfill the vision of Squantum’s technology plan which include wireless teaching tablets (Mobi’s), Infocus projectors in every classroom, and a completely wireless elementary school. We’ve done well so far this year, but would like to go even further and provide document scanners and additional technology items so our children are given the latest tools to stay engaged and focused in the classroom.
We’ve had a great year so far thanks to you – our great parents and supporters of the school. Many folks choose not to participate in every fundraiser, and that’s OK too. The goal is to provide additional choices for things that you might get anyway such as our Domino’s pizza nights, the Grandma’s Pie’s fundraiser for yummy holiday pies, and now this Yankee Candle fundraiser. Katie Ollman has done a great job managing this despite her busy schedule!
The flyers and information for this fundraiser will be going home tomorrow with students and remember… lots of people like to get Yankee candles (made right here in Massachusetts) as gifts. 🙂
One important note to consider is we get an incredible percentage back from these sales. Yankee Candle gives us 45% of what you sell back to the school!
