Adding a Clickable Link to Gmail Signature

Step 1

Log in to your Gmail account.

Step 2

Click “Compose” to start a new email message.

Step 3

Click the “Rich formatting” link in the new message to change the Gmail input method to Rich Text.

Step 4

Click the “Settings” icon, which resembles a gear. Click “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

Step 5

Scroll down to the Signature portion of the Settings page. Select the profile in which you want to include the signature from the available drop-down menu.

Step 6

Type out a name or the URL for the hyperlink you want to include in your Gmail signature in the Signature field.

Step 7

Highlight the link text with your mouse. Click on the “Link” icon, which resembles a chain, in the signature menu.

Step 8

Click the “Web address” radio button and enter the URL in the provided text box. Test the link, if desired, by clicking “Test this link.” When satisfied, click “OK.”

Step 9

Scroll to the bottom and click “Save Changes.”
